Mini-Vans the Trailer Park of the Roadways

As I sat today at a Stop Signed intersection and waited for two mini-vans to pull out into traffic. OF COURSE they had to have BOTH lanes one-thousand percent clear before they pulled out because God forbid one lane is open and you can GO!. I remembered a daily rant I have of how the Mini-Van is the root cause of the downfall of society. Here is my philosophy, First there are 4-5 screaming kids packed into a small vehicle eating, drinking, screaming, crying, spilling, pooping, peeing, vomiting, watching dvd's and the such. All being hauled about by a mom, grandparent, dad or other so-called driver, who is totally distracted by the absolute chaos going on behind them. This lends to not paying attention to the road, unable to control their vehicle, driving below the speed limit generalized barreling through the roadways to get to chucky cheese or the mall play area, or McDonalds, in a manner that is likened to a Drunk Driver out for a 3am Sunday Morning drive. This causes someone behind them to correct their driving to miss them or avoid them which in turn causes a lot of swearing and stress, which causes a lot of frustration which they turn into unhappiness at their job which they turn into productivity issues which leads to their unemployment which leads to them fighting with their wife which leads to divorce, single parenthood and fatherless or motherless disjointed families. THERE I said it. So the next time you see a mini-van on the road. PAY VERY CLOSE attention it is probably swerving, or causing other road mayhem. And if you pull up next to it and the person is on the phone or texting you can only assume they are on their way to the skyway and telling their loved ones good bye.

Super Bowl XLVI - Everything you need to know

Well maybe not everything you need to know BUT only the important things. I know what your saying what is the important thing to know about Super Bowl XLVI. Here is what you need to know. Indianapolis is COLD! Their Stadium is Awesome, The hype is just that HYPE. Everyone that goes to the game thinks they are someone important and that's just the way the fans think the Players are in their own world. The true fans are at home forced to watch their teams play in a city so far way and so expensive that if they are lucky to get picked in the lottery to get a ticket they can't afford to go anyway. BUT if they are well then they become just what I said earlier about the fans. Also the real fun parties are at home in front of your 60" TV that you bought at best buy and were careful to not EF up the box so you can take it back the next day. The wifes will watch the commercials and the guys will be in the man cave. Too much beer will be drank and not enough people will take Monday off. SO now to what is really important about the Super Bowl. New England will win by 3 points in a close game that will see the Patriots Defense give up too many points and the Giants Offense not able to keep up with Brady. It will be close and it Should be a good game and it will come down to a field goal. 3 touchdowns by the Patriots and Three by the Giants but a field goal will win it. 24-21 will be the final.

SO reading our local online paper I find this Web link. It lists the 10 funniest Christmas Movies. I tend to agree with some but think there should be some moved up or added. Here is My List.

I moved the DARKER Christmas Movies to the bottom which in some aspects may be funny, personnally I think Bad Santa is funny but because of the moral aspect which I am not judging here and only looking at it from a pure HUMOR perspective I think it goes way down on the list. Nightmare Before Christmas is a Classic love story and very DARK at that not too funny really.

SCAM or NOT you make the call

OK so I've been looking for a smaller car that I can use daily to drive to work and save my truck for pulling the boat. Yes, I ended up looking for BMW Z-4 models. I searched Ebay, Autotrader and Cars.com. Here is one I found that was very ODD but also such a good deal I had to followup. Below is the text of the e-mails I received and a picture or two. SO the car was listed for $25,000 with 5,000 miles on it and it is a 2011. ALSO the phone number was 813-888-999 this was suppose to be a Tampa number however it is disconnected.

SO I responded to the ad. I called the number and I asked the guy to contact me. HERE is the e-mail he sent me.    

"Hello XXXXXX,

The car is still for sale. The asking price is $25,000. It is located in Tampa, FL and the VIN is WBALM1C55BE393804. The car is registered on my name and the title is clear (no lien). It is in great condition, no dents or scratches. It was always garaged and the regular maintenance was done in time. It wasn't involved in any accident and has never suffered any kind of damage. Also this is a non-smoker car. I've attached photos and the carfax report. If you have any questions regarding the car just let me know!


I had a buyer offering $26,500 and I've lost about 2 weeks waiting for him to pay just to find out in the end that his loan wasn't approved. I've lowered the price because I'm in desperate need of cash it's either the car or the house so if you don't need a loan you can have it.

WOW I thought this seems kinda legit. SO I decided to reply myself telling him that I wanted to look at the car since it was in Tampa and I live here too.  AND what do you know I received the SAME EXACT E-MAIL again. This is where I knew it was a SCAM. SO if anyone is searching for info on this guy "James W. Bentz" or if you get an e-mail from jameswbentz@yahoo.com you will know that this is what he is doing trying to sell a car that is stickered at $73k for $25k HAHA now if it is too good to be true it probably is.
